Things about me…

Well, I’m 21 (sounds terribly old, but I just had them last October, so it doesn’t really count yet, somehow). I’m an undergraduate student in Montreal, Canada and I’m majoring in English Literature with a minor in Creative Writing. I was surprised too, at first, that such a program existed. And yes, the classes are called creative writing. With teachers in them. And books. We do stuff, too. I’m about to finish my first semester, which saddens me. That’s what happens when you get amazing teachers on your first months there. My first language is French, so my posts contain awkward sentences, weird diction, and horrific grammar. I’m working on those.

In Brief: I’m a 21 French Canadian studying English Literature, and soon to unemployed (see list below) without any writing prospect. I just wish I was writer. This is kind of why I started following you. I read at some point that you have published a collection of poems, which I find very admirable since poetry is off-limits for me. Ok. This is not so brief at all. xD

What I’m eager about:

-Quiting the job that I despise most at the end of the month. After working for 2 years there, I’m almost afraid to let go. That’s when you know that if you don’t leave now, you never will.

-Be part of any exchange program (yes, I’m this desperate)

-Enjoy the pile of books that I have next to my bed: Ovid’s Metamorphosis, Plato’s Symposium, Aristotle’s Metaphysic, Anne rice series, Pasha Malla’s short stories, The Romance of the Rose, and the soon-to-be-on-my-bookshelf 2666.

-Humm. I’m seeking for dancing lessons (I stopped some years ago), so I’ll be looking forward that when I’ll find the right place :D.

-Seeing The Muse live @Bell Center, March 10!

Eight more days till I go home. Eight more days till I get to eat all the yummy foods I used to eat and be spoiled for two weeks. Eight more days till I see rainy Vancouver… where it is apparently snowing. Eight more days till I get to hang out with all my good friends. Eight more days till my mother once more calls me every 10pm to get my ass home. Eight more days till that frustration. Eight more days till I have to wake up at 7:00am to get myself to the airport. Eight more days till my finals are over.

We shall have a date this weekend? Take me around Calgary! HAHA :)

Haha I just checked the weather and it’s apparently going to be warmer this weekend when you come here LOL! Funny. I haven’t seen the temperature go up to -1 degrees ;_; I’m quite excited for that.

But yes, my point was… buy a coat. One that will keep you warm in -20 degrees Celsius or higher… it’s fucking freezing here. XD

YAY! It’s okay.. we can stay indoors or something. I’ll buy winter stuff there. 5% YEAH!!! OH I KNOW! How about I invite you to my place? I’ll have my mom cook something, we can make s’mores and watch a dvd or two. :)

IDK why. It’s the whole it’s exams and I need an outlet for my stress relief because I’m not some bitchy/moody male who’s constantly on his monthly fucking period.
